Mission Statement
The mission statement of Church In The Wind of Longview, Texas, for work in the biker and unchurched community is simply:
1. To proclaim the crucified and risen Christ Jesus faithfully to the biker community, and to who all others who will listen.
2. To baptize all believers in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
3. To disciple all believers to become strong and healthy Christians according to the Lord's command.

Strategy Statement
The strategy that Church In The Wind has adopted in order to begin and develop a motorcycle oriented church in the Longview area is as follows:
1. First and foremost our strategy will be to pray for the work, the workers and every effort designed to begin and strengthen this motorcycle ministry endeavor.
2. Intimately related to the strategy will be an emphasis on intelligent, specific, and persistent prayer for this new work and all of the people involved in.
3. The strategy for this new work will include making the motorcycle (biker) community aware of this new work through various means:
a. Banners and signs announcing the ministry.
b. Mail outs
c. Distribution of fliers
d. Motorcycle Event visitation and participation e. Home visitation
4. The strategy will include regular worship services on a weeknight. (Bikers are usually too busy riding their motorcycles on the weekends to go to church. )
5. The strategy will also include the availability of home bible studies.
6. The strategy will include special activities such as: fellowships, concerts and revivals.
7. Finally the strategy will include regular visitation.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The purpose of Church In The Wind is to magnify God's Name by bringing people to Jesus Christ; for Membership, Maturity, Ministry and Missions.
